The Galapagos Brown Pelican (Pelecanus occidentalis urinator) is a large, heavy waterbird with short legs, webbed feet, and exceptionally long bills. They feed by scooping fish into their large bill. They perch on rocks on the shoreline to rest and warm up after fishing.
