Description
The Galapagos Greater Flamingos (Phoenicopterus ruber glyphorhynchus) add striking brilliant pink colors to landscapes and lagoons. They eat with their heads upside-down filtering water to find crustaceans, which contain carotenoids causing the birds to turn pink.
