Description
The lava gull (Leucophaeus fuliginosus) is the rarest gull in the world, found only among the Galapagos Islands. They have a dark grey or black head with white around the eye, dark grey body, and paler grey belly. Like most Larus genus gulls, they are omnivores and scavengers, but will also catch small fish, crustaceans, and reptiles.
